This course is an optional lab to be used in conjunction with or as an alternative to work-based learning placements in order to meet the ASE Education Foundation standards for hours. Topics include manual and power steering systems and standard and electronically controlled suspension and steering systems. Upon completion, students should be able to service and repair steering and suspension components, check and adjust alignment angles, repair tires, balance wheels, and calibrate/reset related driver assist systems using appropriate tools, equipment, procedures, and service information.
