Graduates of the Associate in Applied Science Health Science – Patient Care Services (Nurse Aide) track will earn an associate degree along with course completion of Nurse Aide I. Students successfully completing Nurse Aide I are eligible for the state-approved Nurse Aide I Training and Competency Testing. Successful completion of state-approved testing allows students eligibility for listing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I. Earning this credential opens immediate opportunities for employment within the healthcare field.
