The Health Sciences - Comprehensive Pathway for Pre-Health Science certificate is designed to provide students with concentrated coursework in health science and medical terminology. Upon completion of the required courses, a certificate is awarded by the College. Courses for the certificate may be applied toward the Associate in Health Sciences – Clinical Specimen Collection & Processing degree or the Associate in Health Sciences – Patient Care Services (Nurse Aide) degree.
Graduates of the Associate in Applied Science Health Sciences – Clinical Specimen Collection & Processing track will earn an associate degree and a Phlebotomy certificate. Graduates from the Associate in Applied Science Health Sciences – Patient Care Services (Nurse Aide) track will earn an associate degree and a Nurse Aide I course completion certificate.
