The College welcomes visitors to campus. All visitors must comply with the college's policies and procedures. All visitors to instructional areas must have the instructor's prior approval. All visitors to laboratories, shops, or other potentially hazardous areas must be escorted by a SCC employee. Visitors unfamiliar with the campus should report to the college's information center. (Policy 2.1.1)
SCC encourages the appropriate use of its facilities by area citizens in accordance with the institution's purpose and policies. The president or his/her designee is authorized to identify any or all areas of the campus as open only to enrolled students, employees, and guests. Guests may include prospective students visiting the campus, persons attending authorized meetings, and persons using other college services.
The president or his/her designee is authorized to ban from campus any student or non-student who may be deemed undesirable or whose presence or actions may be inappropriate at a particular place or event.
